WHY SHOULD I HIRE A PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY TO SECURE MY PROPERTY WHEN I CAN USE ONE OF MY EMPLOYEES TO WALK AROUND WEARING A SHIRT THAT READS "SECURITY" ON IT?
It is against the law for someone to walk around performing the responsibilities of a Security Officer when they are neither licensed nor working under a Licensed Security Company. If you are caught doing this practice you could face up to a $4,000 fine.
WHY SHOULD I PAY YOU THE HIGHER RATE?
DBU Investigations & Security Services, Inc. charges a higher rate for security because our Officers make this a life-long career. Our Officers have an above average rate for showing up for work on time and in full uniform, they do their jobs, and they remain on site. While other companies encourage their officers to lie on their paperwork and state they were on site even if they weren't, our company won't tolerate that behavior from any of our officers. We address issues, concerns and problems as quickly as we are made aware they exist. We have supervisors that travel from location to location to ensure the Officer assigned to the location is not only on duty and on location, but in full uniform and performing all of their responsibilities properly.
WHAT DETERMINES THE RATE AT WHICH YOU ARE GOING TO CHARGE ME TO PROTECT MY PROPERTY?
The rates depend upon your property location, the risk level, wether or not you want armed security, the amount of responsibilities our Officers will incur and the hours you want service. We generally charge more per hour for contracts that want less than 8 hours a night as the officers need to be re-imbursed for the gas expense for travel to and from location. There are numerous factors that help us determine our rates, but those are the biggest factors.
WHY SHOULD I HIRE A PI?
An investigator provides information that was not previously known. Information is important when it comes to any form of civil or criminal proceeding. We are experienced investigators and fact finders. When you need to ascertain the facts and only the facts, we can help.
WHAT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED TO BEGIN A SURVEILLANCE ASSIGNMENT?
Supply us with a physical description and/or photo of the subject, home and work addresses, vehicle information, time and place to start, plus the reason for the surveillance. We will find and document the facts and present them to you. If needed, we may testify in court on the findings on your behalf.
WHAT IS THE COST TO HIRE A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR?
Our rates are very reasonable, however, the cost is directly related to the time the investigator has to invest in a case and/or is dependent on the particular assignment. Usually most assignments like surveillance are billed hourly. Consultations and advice regarding your case are totally confidential and free of charge.
HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU BEGIN AN INVESTIGATION?
We prefer to have at least 24-hours notice; however, it is sometimes possible to begin a case within 2 to 4 hours. Weekends are the busiest times and therefore, would usually require extra advance notice. We would first need to collect all of your details and facts regarding the case and obtain any necessary forms before we can initialize the investigation. In addition, all investigations are to be Pre-Paid. Payment may be accepted on-line in various payment methods. Call us for details.
IS THE INVESTIGATION AND INFORMATION OBTAINED TOTALLY CONFIDENTIAL?
We guarantee that all of the evidence or information obtained for any of our clients is totally confidential. Not even the Police authorities can obtain any of your acquired evidence or personal information without our consent and your consent.
IS IT LEGAL TO CONDUCT SURVEILLANCE, FOLLOW A PERSON, OR LOCATE SOMEONE?
Yes, as long as it is for legitimate purposes you MAY hire a Private Investigator to gather facts and/or evidence, which you require. If needed, we may also testify in court on the findings or work together with your attorney.
WHICH FORMS OF PAYMENT or CREDIT CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We can accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We can take your credit card information over the phone or we can send an invoice through our accounting program which gives you the option to pay online when you open the invoice.
CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY SERVICE ORDER ONCE SUBMITTED?
Since orders are processed immediately, it is almost impossible to cancel or change an order once submitted and the credit card has been approved. You may need to place a new order with the correct information. If your original order was placed for the wrong service you must contact us immediately by phone.

I THINK MY SPOUSE IS CHEATING ON ME. I WANT TO FILE FOR DIVORCE ON THE GROUNDS OF ADULTERY. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME?
Our rates for surveillance can vary. When you hire a detective to help you prove adultery you should gain a substantial amount of evidence against your spouse. Patience and consistency is the key. Consistency of several infidelity situations will increase your chances in proving adultery in the courts.
I THINK MY EX-SPOUSE IS NEGLECTING OUR CHILDREN WHEN THEY VISIT HIM. CAN YOU HELP ME?
Yes, we can help you in most cases. We can conduct surveillance in most major cities and states on your spouse and the children when they are together. The investigator will document all activities occurred. If the evidence becomes clear of neglect you may want to obtain an attorney and amend his/her visitation rights.
I AM ABOUT TO GET MARRIED AND I HAVE DOUBTS THAT MY FIANCÉ IS FAITHFUL TO ME. WHAT CAN I DO?
